Biotechnology from a finger

"Newspaper.Ru»In Russia, a device has been created that can determine in a minute when, in what quantity and what drugs you have used over the past year.

A pseudoscientific hybrid of homeopathy and bioresonance medicine is stepping into the masses. Students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University are already being tested with it, the military and the Ministry of Justice are actively using it.

The most striking discoveries are made at the intersection of sciences. Moreover, we are talking not only about the fundamental properties of the Universe (on the border of astronomy and physics of the microcosm) or the molecular foundations of life (at the junction of biology, chemistry and physics). Often, combining the efforts of scientists working in different industries can dramatically improve people's lives, as it hopefully will happen with nanotechnology.

But just try to imagine how many wonderful discoveries the association of pseudosciences is preparing for us. The crossing of homeopathy with bioresonance medicine has given rise to an amazing device, the capabilities of which exceed all the wildest expectations. He is able to determine in a matter of minutes, without any tests, whether you have ever used drugs, and if you have used them, which ones, when and in what quantity.

All you need is to attach a probe of an oscilloscope–like device to a special active point of your finger, and then everything will be told for you by the "information trail" left in the body from eating various filth. It remains only to compare your footprint with traces of hashish or heroin stored in the computer's memory.

Obscurantism in the serviceAll this would be a plot for the now–forgotten TV program "UFO: An Unannounced Visit", the plot of another film about the "Great Secret of Water" or Nikola Tesla, if it were not happening today in one of the most respected educational institutions in the country - Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

As the staff of the Institute proudly told in one of the recent issues of national TV news, the corresponding device developed by the medical firm IMEDIS about ten years ago is actively used to test students of perhaps the best technical university in the country.

An employee of the press service of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University confirmed that with the help of this homeopathic bioresonance device, the institute is now testing students entering the military department for drugs. According to the press secretary, if the test result is positive, the student is sent on sick leave, during which he undergoes a course of preventive treatment.

In some cases, a drug-addicted student may be expelled from the military department of the university. And this despite the fact that the amazing device is the only method of diagnosis for drug addiction used in MSTU.

However, upon expulsion from the military department, a student will be able to continue studying at Baumanka in a specialization that does not require wearing a pistachio-colored shirt once a week.

The experience of MSTU is by no means the first. As he told the newspaper.En" one of the developers of the installation of "electropuncture vegetative resonance" testing, Oleg Roik, the Russian Ministries of Defense and Justice have been testing their "wards" using this technique for more than one year. All, presumably, on taxpayers' money. Perhaps, however, these ministries just wanted to measure the breadth of views with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which has been using the methods of "cosmorhythmology" in its forecasts for more than one year – or, in simple terms, astrology.

Developers also went to schools, giving teachers and schoolchildren certificates that they do not use drugs. According to experts, all procedures were carried out under conditions of complete anonymity, so potential accusations of the possibility of using this data to blackmail students and applicants should not be presented to developers.

The Miracle methodThe effectiveness is phenomenal – according to the authors, even the fact of drug use a year ago is revealed.

A careful interpretation allows us to judge whether it was an accidental inhalation of someone else's "smoke", or an independent puff.

In fact, it is difficult to judge the effectiveness. If we take the numbers from the registration certificate of the Ministry of Health posted on the IMEDIS website, then everything is not just good, but excellent – none of the existing methods has such accuracy. In conclusion, the most authoritative medical institutions are mentioned, however, only as the place of main work of some developers of the miracle device.

The action of the device is not limited to one organ. And besides, there are no contraindications. It is a little strange that such an effective method has never failed – at least, there is not a single message about this at the annual conferences devoted to bioresonance therapy. Apparently, the body has some kind of natural protection against induced vibrations, then we can be calm, even if the enemies take possession of the device, they cannot disrupt our natural cycles.

However, as Roic admitted, there is not a single article in any refereed journal devoted to the study of the sensitivity and reliability of this method, and the only double-blind study included only 5 people who used drugs. Similar studies conducted abroad could not prove either the effectiveness of homeopathy or the effectiveness of bioresonance.

A pioneer is not an example to a pioneerOf course, medicine is a complex science, and in order to use something, it is not necessary to fully understand the underlying processes.

Oleg Roik believes that in two or three years we will have data on the mechanisms of action at the cellular level. And it's always hard to be pioneers – especially when there is more than a conservative medical community around you, and humanity is smart beyond its years and does not have the appropriate breadth of views.

But Pasteur, Koch, Mendel, Morgan and other "revolutionaries" did not sell and commercialize their ideas, but tried to make every effort to prove their views, which did not fit into the framework of conservative science, by its own methods.

So far, the methodology "is based on a unique combination of homeopathy and bioresonance therapy, capable of influencing and registering the information field of organisms."

The idea of an information field promises a lot – a small modification of the method – and we have an excellent diagnostic tool in our hands, another program – and the same device turns into a device for treatment.

True, the approach to treatment is still purely individual, but that's nothing – with the financial support of various ministries, scientists will soon cope with this task – mass health is just around the corner! It's not a big deal that we don't understand something: the Ministries of Defense and Justice, Roszdrav and the "people's academicians" from the Russian Academy of Sciences know which studies to direct money to better than the "stagnant" academicians from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

By the way, the position of the latter also raises questions. In principle, it is not bad that full–fledged virologists, biologists and doctors of various specialties are also engaged in research in this area. They have the opportunity to evaluate the true effectiveness of methods on good equipment, to use the technical resources of their research institutes in experiments.

It is stupid to demand from the state a report on the funds spent, but it is strange to see contradictions within ministries and departments. It turns out that the official Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences on combating Pseudoscience considers such studies pseudoscientific, which does not prevent scientists from publishing the results of their work on behalf of their research institutes that are part of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

The same contradiction is observed between the Academy and the Ministry of Health (Roszdrav). The agency responsible for the medical activity of the whole country issues licenses and certificates and registers new methods that are classified by academics as "pseudoscientific". Institutes and divisions of Roszdrav are "successfully" engaged in the study of homeopathy, bioresonance techniques and other things.

Everything is clearWhy do the "pioneers" find such broad support both from the state and from patients?

First of all, it is a coherent "scientific" theory underlying such methods. Torsion fields, DNA-level programming, information field, chakras, aura and other terms not recognized by academics easily explain all the gaps in classical science.

And it's not necessary to graduate from university to understand everything. One TV program and you are almost an expert.

The explanation is not academic snobs who consider themselves smarter than everyone else on scientific issues, in particular, officials from the Ministry of Defense. There is no need to break your head and climb into textbooks for additional information, which, by the way, you will not find there. You won't find it in refereed journals either. If you get down to business seriously, then glossy magazines, a binder of yellow newspapers and a stack of cassettes with recordings of popular programs are best suited for you.

An excellent popular explanation is the key to success for both patients and sponsors. It is not for nothing that the title of the report presented at the fourteenth (!) is so attractive according to the account and, as usual, the international conference on "bioresonance therapy": "Possible points of optimal information introduction".

Apologists of traditional medicine and science have a lot to learn.
