Find out the date of your death and drink anti-alcoholic vodka

From the editorial office:
Not fitting into the main topic of our site and a very long analysis of another stupid study and its even more stupid retelling in the media (on the completely unexplored topic "is alcohol harmful to pregnant women"), read the full text of the 39th issue of the "Column of the Evil Critic". And the investigations that uncle_doc conducted about the forecast of the date of his death and biologically active vodka are given in full.

The "divorce of clients" on the Internet continues with terrible force. Including, and disguised as serious medical institutions and research. There is no need to go far for an example, our regular reader LW told a heartbreaking story about how her colleague was "taken away" by ICQ and began sending spam on behalf of the owner with an invitation to take an interesting medical test.

Have you seen the "Find out the date of your death" test? Well, where at the end they offer to find out the result for SMS and rip off 250 re for it (options are possible). And in our case - another kind of it, the links may be different - test-menzdrav.ru , life-test.ru , but they all lead to one site.

The essence is simple: you are invited to answer questions (compiled from a fool) and as a result, you seem to be predicted a bunch of things about health and life expectancy. Naturally, the results can be found only for money. If the site is suddenly demolished or dragged where – here is a screenshot.

And here is such a funny mail from the "Medical Statistics Center of the State Research Institute of Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences":

Not only is the test itself a complete nonsense, but there is also no such institute (Institute of Medicine) in the structure of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. And it would be strange if it existed. What would you study, I wonder?

There is a Research Institute of Occupational Medicine with Academician Izmerov at the head. There are also institutes of experimental and any other medicine, we look at the full list of RAMS institutions here. And there are also research organizations in which the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences provides scientific and methodological guidance, but there is no Research Institute of Medicine there either.

Another gift from the honorary link hunter Alexander from St. Petersburg. This time they shared such interesting price tags:

Vodka and dietary supplements in one bottle – it was necessary to think of such a thing. And where only Rospotrebnadzor looks. And here, by the way, is a counter-label:

It turns out that before using this vodka, it is necessary to consult a doctor, because the list of contraindications for dietary supplements "Epsorin" (extract from reindeer antlers, better known for such a drug as "Pantocrine") is quite impressive. The mixture turns out to be funny: alcohol is a depressant, antler extract seems to have an exciting effect. By the way, I don't see a single and daily dose on the label, the frequency of use and the duration of the course of administration.

I propose to go further and establish the production of medicinal vodkas. We add dried and crushed pork cartilage, we call vodka "Arthritis". We add Viagra, we call vodka a "Pleasant surprise".  We add a saline laxative, we call vodka an "Unpleasant surprise". Well, the crown of the collection will be vodka "Anti-alcoholic", to which you can add disulfiram (teturam).
