Well, for sanity!

The literary prize in the field of medicine "Sanity-2021" announces the start of the third stage of the competition – the popular vote. You can get acquainted with the works of the authors and vote for the book you like on the CrowdSpace website.

In 2021, the medical book award "Sanity" is being held for the third time, this year 172 applications were received, which were submitted for consideration to the members of the expert council. The Board of the award includes representatives of the medical community, mass media and publishing houses. Experts evaluate each application for compliance with the stated criteria and objectives of the Award. Books that have passed the second stage are allowed to participate in the Popular Vote of the Sanity Award.

The purpose of the award remains unchanged – to promote medical practice, popularize the basics of medicine and a healthy lifestyle, support authors writing on the topic of medicine and health.

"We expect readers to actively participate in the voting. This year, many interesting books are being put forward for the competition, and life itself tells us that it is best to arm ourselves with knowledge in the struggle for it," Evelina Zakamskaya, editor–in-chief of the Doctor TV channel.

Any user who has previously filled out the registration form on the official website of the award can vote for the best book. According to the results of the voting, 3 candidates for victory in each of the nominations will be determined:

• "Recipe for Health" – popular books about health and a healthy lifestyle based on personal or professional experience, designed for a mass audience
• Step Forward – books about the history of medical science, its possibilities and discoveries based on evidence-based medicine
• Aesculapius – memoirs and biographies of doctors
• "The best idea of the book" is for specialists and bloggers who promote a healthy lifestyle and come up with ideas for new books. The author of the best idea will have the opportunity to publish the book in the publishing house "BOMBORA".

The popular vote will begin on the Crowdspace platform on July 19 and will last until September 20.

From September 20 to October 10, the jury, which included journalists, representatives of the professional medical community and public figures, will determine the winners of the "Sanity" of 2021.
