Hometeam startup, which developed an application to help the elderly, announced the raising of an additional $ 5 million from Kaiser Permanente Ventures. The previous round of financing brought the company about $32 million, and during its existence it attracted at least $43.5 million from venture capital companies.

Jordan Kramer of Kaiser Permanente Ventures will join the Hometeam board as an observer.

The startup was founded in New York and aims to connect the elderly with the right staff for care and assistance. The service does not just select employees, but takes into account the common interests and needs of both parties. In addition, it allows you to keep in touch with doctors, family members and emergency centers.
