A database of human donor organs will appear in Russia
The system will also get information about people who need a transplant.
The document was prepared by deputies of the LDPR, United Russia and Fair Russia factions, as well as senators of the Federation Council.
The law proposes to define medical activities related to organ donation. In particular, the authors want to assign the term to those specialists who conduct a medical examination of a donor, ensure the safety of donor organs before their removal, withdraw donor organs, as well as store and transport them.
In addition, the law will allow the Russian government to establish the procedure for using a specialized information system for accounting for human organ donors, organ donors, patients and recipients.
