Scientists have compiled a rating of countries comfortable for old age

Scientists from Columbia University in the USA has compiled a rating of countries where the best conditions for the elderly are created, the EurekAlert portal reports! (New global aging index gauges health and wellbeing of aging populations).

The compilers of the rating took as a basis five main criteria: security, health, the economic difference between rich and poor, labor productivity and generational communication.

Norway, Sweden, the USA, the Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Finland and Spain.

In total, 30 states appear in the rating.
