Drink foamy beer and don't be afraid of a "beer belly"!

Beer doesn't make you fat
Men`s HealthScientists from Germany and Sweden believe that the formation of the so-called "beer belly" does not depend on the quantity and variety of beer consumed.

The experiment, which lasted a little less than nine years, involved 7876 men and 12749 women who did not deny themselves their favorite intoxicating drink and were regularly examined for weight gain and other changes in the body.

As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, experts came to a rather unexpected conclusion: the responsibility for the appearance of a "beer belly" is not beer at all, but a genetic predisposition to weight gain. Moreover, experts have determined that, contrary to a common stereotype, the intoxicating drink practically does not contain fats (so in the original – VM???), and its caloric content is two times lower than the caloric content of red wine.

The results of the study are published in the authoritative scientific publication of the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
