Fedor Alekseev, VladTimeProgrammer V. Spiridonov, who has been appointed the first candidate in the world to perform a neurosurgical head transplant on a new body, is going to the USA, where a conference will be held.

During the discussion, an incredible experiment will be announced.

"I will take a minimum amount of things with me to America, because there is no one who could carry more luggage. I'll take a small backpack with the most necessary things, like a camera from a stroller, a mobile phone, a change of clothes, a credit card. In general, I will go light," Spiridonov said.

V. Spiridonov, in his 30s, suffers from a very rare disease – SPA (spinal muscular atrophy). He will be the first patient to undergo an experimental operation by the Italian doctor S. Canavero. Proving that such an operation is possible, an Italian professor opposed the whole world of neurosurgeons. The rest of the doctors ask him not to lose his head, but to assess the chances as soberly as possible, because no specialist has yet been able to restore the conduction of the spinal cord.

This experiment is highly likely to cost Spiridonov his life. However, according to his words, he still has not long to live. Patients suffering from congenital spinal muscular atrophy very rarely cross the 20-year mark, and Vladimir is already 30.
