As a result of the operational search measures, a resident of Moscow, who headed two commercial companies, was identified. According to the investigation, in 2005-2007, in order to steal money by deception, he organized the manufacture and further sale of the drug "Cellular Cosmetics "Stemamin" in the production premises of his enterprises for a total amount of about 30 million rubles, law enforcement agencies of the Moscow region told ITAR-TASS today.

According to research conducted by the Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the drug "Stemamin" produced by the detainee does not contain viable cellular elements, including stem cells, therefore it is not able to have the cosmetic effect specified in the recipe. According to this fact, the investigative part of the Main Investigative Department at the Moscow Region Police Department opened a criminal case against the suspect under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud".
