We will give advice on the development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry
The Council for the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry under the Government of the Russian Federation has been established in Russia. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, ITAR-TASS reports.
The purpose of the creation of the Council is to develop proposals related to the implementation of state policy in the field of development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry in Russia.
The main tasks of the new structure will be to prepare recommendations on attracting investments in the development of the pharmaceutical and medical industries, improving the competitiveness of products, analyzing the prospects for the development of industry and preliminary consideration of draft strategies for the development of the industry. The Council will also prepare proposals on measures to support the export of pharmaceutical and medical products, as well as measures to create "integrated structures of developers and manufacturers" in this industry, the resolution says.
