American and South African doctors have started conducting joint clinical trials of a vaccine against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in South Africa. This was announced on Sunday by the National Institute of Allergic and Infectious Diseases (The First New HIV Vaccine Efficacy Study in Seven Years Has Begun).
