Longevity and Quality of Life Medicine
At the end of January, the V International Conference "Medicine of Longevity and Quality of Life" and the VIII International Symposium on Aesthetic Medicine were held at the World Trade Center on Krasnaya Presnya.
The conference program included topical reports for aesthetic medicine specialists, doctors of various specialties and all those who are interested in the problems of aging, strategies of preventive and restorative medicine, analytical data concerning the means and methods of geroprotection. The conference "Holistic approach to the problem of longevity" was held under the auspices of the event.
Critical reviews and discussions, reports of representatives of fundamental science and practitioners, exchange of views of colleagues and scientists took place at the sessions "Aging and diseases – two sides of the same coin?", "Geroprotection – balance of quality and life expectancy", "Clinical nutritionology", "Connective tissue in normal, pathology and aging". The lively interest of the audience was aroused by the round table "Vitamins. What? Where? When?" and a discussion in the format "To the barrier!" "Probiotics and prebiotics in the correction of dysbiosis."
The topics raised at the conference allowed us to take a fresh look at familiar problems, take advantage of all the advantages of integrating various medical specialties.
